Address Resolution Display and control. It can be used to list all the ip and their mac addresses in the local network.

For example,

arp -a

? (192.168.74.199) at <mac address> on en0 ifscope [ethernet]
? (192.168.74.202) at <mac address> on en0 ifscope [ethernet]
